Celtic vs Paris Saint-Germain 19.45 kick off @Celtic Park

Paris Saint-Germain will go to Scotland confident of winning as their brand new attacking trio are starting to gel. Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani are all on great form in Ligue 1 and are hoping to carry it on to the main stage of European football. Paris' attack is as good as anyone's in this competition however for me their defence can still let them down, especially as they do not have a world class midfielder destroyer such as Kante. Celtic will be fired up for this game, Brendan Rodgers had a great year with them last year and knows that it's in Europe where his managerial capabilities will be truly tested. Celtic are always capable of an upset, who can forget that 2-1 win over Barcelona. With the backing of their great fans there will always be room for a memorable result tonight, despite being unlikely. Lets not forget that Paris Saint Germain are great favourites to go through to the next stage and some people's choice for the overall winner of this competition.

Final Result - 3-1 win to Paris Saint Germain

Bayern Munich vs RSC Anderlecht  19.45 kick off @Allianz Arena

Bayern Munich have no excuses tonight but to win. They've not started amazingly so far this season, having already lost a league game. Their fans and Carlo Ancelotti will be expecting the players to perform tonight. Whilst Anderlecht are not an awful team they're probably the weakest team in this strong group. Despite losing Youri Tielemans in the summer to Monaco they still have some talented players such as Henry Onyekuru, Lukasz Teodorczyk and Leander Dendoncker. Bayern will need to be careful and not get complacent and deliver the win that everyone at the club is expecting.

Final Result - 4-0 win to  Bayern Munich
