Paul Tisdale is finally back in management this time with Bristol Rovers and to be honest I’m not surprised especially when he came out publicly about wanting the job.
However Tisdale despite his experience in the lower regions of the EFL, will feel that he has a point to prove given that his win percentage In league one is just 29%.
During his spell at Exeter it was marred by ups and downs mostly downs in the latter years but I wish him well in his next job but I do have advice for the gas.
Be prepared for negative tactics especially when behind and playing players out of position as well as deflections of criticism away from him and his players
In all seriousness though I think it’s a good appointment as he knows the club relatively well however it will be an appointment to divide the fans but it was obvious a change was needed after only three wins so far simply wasn’t good enough for the Rovers ambitions and only time will tell whether the right choice was made.
