The recovery begins

Today it was announced that the Premier league and the EFL agreed a 250 million pound rescue package which makes it a positive week with fans allowed in to stadia from this weekend with some matches already taking place.

I feel it’s too little to late firstly I think the EFL haven’t done enough across the pandemic to make sure that clubs survive and this is just enough to cover their tracks and it should and possibly could have been done earlier  but as the saying goes it’s better late than never and I’m sure fans will be relieved that football is finally heading in the right direction after 266 days but many fans will feel divided and say change should have happened sooner after small successful pilot events.
