Social Mike’s Shoutouts :

Kai Havertz – Havertz has been on a tear for Bayern Leverkusen having scored a brace in the past 2 matches (4 goals) keeping Leverkusen in the mix for the title and keeping them in Champions league contention. Look for Havertz services to be a hot commodity via the transfer window.

Robert Lewandowski – Lewa scores again and agin bringing his Bundesliga total to 27 goals keeping him as the top goal scorer this season. Lewandowski is now at 41 goals across all competitions.

Timo Werner – Timo scores a hat trick on Match day 27 bring his season total to 24 keeping him in the race for top scorer just 3 behind Robert Lewandowski. Werner has been linked with Liverpool and may be on his the Premier League.

Final whistle:

As I previously mentioned on the “Bundesliga Is Back” piece which is available on, there are still a couple of crucial matches left in the Bundesliga title race. First up this upcoming Tuesday 05/26/2020 we have the biggest game left on the schedule a match between 1st place Bayern Munich vs 2nd place Borussia Dortmund. In what will most likely determine the winner of the Bundesliga match up, this is it Munich vs Dortmund the match up of match ups of the Bundesliga with the title on the line. Whoever comes out on top of this matchup Tuesday will have positioned themselves to be crowned champs.

The second matchup comes on Match day 30th Saturday 06/06/2020, and it’s a clash between 1st place Bayern Munich vs 4th place Bayern Leverkusen. This match up isn’t as critical as the previously talked about match, but that depends who you’re asking. Leverkusen is 8 points back and would need as much help as they can get, the first order of business being taking care of what they can control which would be getting a victory over Bayern. Dortmund will be rooting for Leverkusen in this match up also needing the help to knock the defending champs out of the top spot.

The third and final crucial match up comes to us on Match day 33 Saturday 06/20/2020 with a battle between 3rd place RB Leipzig vs 2nd place Borussia Dortmund. Another match up which has huge implications in another game which will determine if either one of these teams has the final shot at over taking Bayern Munich from the top of the table. With Dortmund having a match up with the champs they are the most likely to challenge Munich for the crown one thing is for sure we will find out if the champs can defend the title or will they get dethroned.
