Another weekend full of footballing drama which saw Liverpool thump Hull city 5-1, Arsenal roll Chelsea and Southampton destroy West Ham.

So I've decided to pick my first team of the week.

In goal I've gone with Chile international Claudio Bravo after a very decent performance and a few very good saves. He's settled well at the Etihad and looks key to City being title contenders.

At left back I've gone with James Milner, some would probably have said I have no idea what i'm talking about with this choice but for me Milner has gone into an unfamiliar position and done a job at left back. And for me i think he deserves credit.

My two centre backs I've opted for Arsenal pair, Laurent Koscielney and Shkodran Mustafi. Showing a phenomenal performance, especially in keeping Diego Costa quiet all game. For me they are great partnership. Similar too Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen of last season.

At right back I've gone for Hector Bellerin grabbing an assist for the Theo Walcott goal and and stunning challenge on Pedro which really left me with no choice but to put him in my team. A very promising young talent for Arsenal.

I've gone for Raheem Sterling on the wing, another brilliant performance from the £49m man. He's really developing well under Pep Guardiola, a great goal from him too. A bright start to the season for Sterling.

In the centre of the park I've picked Adam Lallana and Ander Herrera. Great performances from both, dominating the midfield for both clubs. Another goal to the tally for Lallana too.

On the right side I've gone for Heung-Min Son. Bagging 2 goals in the opening 25 minutes, not to mention sending Spurs up to second. An underrated player in my eyes, a good signing from Pochettino and needs to be played a little more than what he has.

In the attacking options I've got Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Sergio Aguero. Zlatan had a brilliant game and was very unlucky not to score with his chest control and volley just over the bar. He set up a fair few chances too. And Aguero, well what can i say about this man? 3 match ban? No bother I'll come back and score 2 goals. He is absolutely out of this world. He was unlucky not to complete another hat-trick but nonetheless, outstanding.
