Stoke are planning to add to their summer singings with Swansea midfielder Sam Clucas. The Swansea midfielder has arrived in Stoke for a medical and to discuss personal terms ahead of a £6 million deal according to Sky Sources.
A deal looked to have been struck with Premier League side Burnley after an £8 million fee had been agreed but personal terms could not be agreed and the move ended up breaking down. Wolves also had interest but again talks broke down and he now looks set to join rivals Stoke.
Clucas impressed for Swansea last season despite their relegation to the Championship. Fellow second tier side Stoke now look set to sign him. Clucas scored three goals in 29 appearances for Swansea last season after arriving at the club last summer from Hull.
