Tottenham Hotspur Preview vs West Bromwich Albion

Written by Tyler Rose

Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs visit the Hawthorns, home of West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 15th October. Tottenham Hotspur will hope they leave the stadium with nothing but three important points to maintain their unbeaten start.

Spurs sit second in the table, one point behind the leaders Manchester City who they beat comfortably 2-0 before the International break. A win for the Argentine’s men will keep Manchester City on their toes as Spurs will chase them till the very end. Moussa Dembele is doubtful after suffering from a foot injury, I’m praying everything is fine as he’s a vital player. Harry Kane is ruled out for the game but is expected to be back for the North London Derby on November 5th. I have no doubt that we can bring home all three points, the strength in depth that we have is important, it’s quite difficult to predict the team.

It was a ‘Sonny September’ for Heung-Min Son, he’s had a great month, scoring four great well composed goals. Son is continuing to surprise me, please tell me I’m not the only fan who thought Son would be a back-up player before the season started. Son will thrive from this accolade after saying “I want to get it a second time, a third time”. The South Korean is playing with bundles of confidence and does work hard for the team, and will be hoping for another goal or an assist in tomorrow’s game.

My Predicted XI:

Lloris (C)

Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose

Dier, Wanyama

Sissoko, Alli, Eriksen

I’m going for a comfortable 3-1 win, the goalscorers: Son x2 and Sissoko
