Belgium ace Radja Nainggolan has been placed on the transfer list by club of five years Roma, leaving Chelsea and Tottenham on high alert as they fight for the midfielder, as reported by the Teamtalk.
The valuation of £25m that Roma have set for their midfielder has brought forward many suitors as that would be considered a low price for a player of his ability.
The no-nonsense midfielder will not be going to the World Cup this year as Belgium boss Roberto Martinez had a dispute with the Series A star, leaving him out of his squad.
This resulted in Nainggolan retiring from International football this summer.
Nainggolan, 30-years-old, has been placed on the transfer list after Roma have become fed up of the midfielders off-field behaviour.
The Belgian has made over 200 appearances for Roma, 42 of which have come this year, as the midfielder was an ever-present in Roma’s Champions League run which saw them come from behind to beat Barcelona 3-0 at the Stadio Olimpico. Roma were knocked out in the semi-finals against Liverpool.
Nainggolan has scored 33 goals during his time at the Giallorossi, as he has played alongside club legends Daniele De Rossi and Francesco Totti.
Chelsea, who have long been interested in Nainggolan, want the midfielder to partner N’Golo Kante, as Tiémoué Bakayoko has had a disastrous first season at Stamford Bridge.
Spurs are looking for the midfielder to replace fellow Belgian Moussa Dembele who is set to quit the club.
