Hello and welcome to another hero of the week! This week is round 12 of the Premier League campaign.
With almost a third of the way through this season, players and teams are starting to shine and show us fans what they can do!
Two teams however who haven’t scored many this season are Bournemouth and Huddersfield.
It was at home for Bournemouth where they could make this change, Huddersfield have really proven themselves thus far in the premier league this season. Maybe not by scoring many but by beating Manchester United just a few weeks ago they’ve definitely got something to show.
The game versus Bournemouth was a little different though, Huddersfield started really strong with plenty of possession and having a few shots off early on.
But it was for one man that lead Bournemouth to victory and this weeks “Hero of the week” is Callum Wilson.
Sure Huddersfield started well, but it takes a goal poacher to score the all important goals and that’s exactly what Callum Wilson did.
His first goal was from a corner in the 26 minute, whipped in by Jordon Ibe. Wilson leaps over the defence and makes it 1:0 to Bournemouth.
A few minutes later from a lovely through ball by his teammate, Callum Wilson is free on goal and again with that eye for goal for slots it past the keeper.
The final minutes remain and unfortunately Huddersfield didn’t look like getting back into this game. In the 84th minute, Wilson finds himself in the box unmarked and shoots with power and precision into the bottom right hand corner, also then claiming the match ball.
A superb performance, from a player who I believe does deserve to start. He hasn’t done anything wrong in getting on the score sheet.
Thanks again for reading, all the best from myself Will beesley and all of us from All Out Football.
