Hello again and welcome back to another hero of the week, this weekend’s action was at a high standard of football. With many goals and late winners it was an interesting week for certain teams in the Premier League.

This week I have decided to take a player from the Everton and Bournemouth game. Both clubs needed points heading into this game, it’s fair to say even though it’s early in the season they haven’t lifted their support with much hope.

The man who has proved to be my “Hero of the week” is Oumar Niasse.

This creative player really did push and prove to all the Everton fans that he is something special. Coming on as a substitute on the 55 minute mark already 0-1 down  to Bournemouth the 27 year old had a lot to do.

Niasse starting his first goal with a superb interception winning the ball back before some great movement and touches on the 18 yard box to control and smash it in the top right corner to equalise. Later in the second half, Everton have another chance in the box from Davies but it’s blocked by the defender. With the ball then looping in the air it was that man again Niasse to jump high and mighty over his opponents to head the ball into the keepers hands and then on the rebound poach it in for his second and Everton’s winner.

He should be really proud of his performance, as he totally turned the game around with only 35 minutes to do it. That’s why in my opinion Niasse has earned the Hero of the week crown this week.

Thanks again for reading, stay tuned for next weeks “Hero of the week”
