Arsenal got back to winning ways on Sunday evening with a scary but solid win against a very impressive Bournemouth side.

Here’s how the Arsenal side was rated according to what I saw:

Cech- 6.5 – Could not do much for the penalty but made a very crucial point blank save from Afobe which kept the game at 2-1

Debuchy- 5 – Not long enough to rate but looked good in the short time he was on the pitch, and a juicy back-heel as well. Very unlucky to get injured.

Mustafi-  6 –  Solid as ever and good passing. Booked for Dissent .

Koscielny- 8 – No words to describe how important he is to Arsenal at the moment- made many clearances and was very handy especially when Bournemouth were on the ascendancy after they scored.

Monreal- 6.5 – Unlucky to give a penalty away but made up for it with a good cross to Walcott in the second half. Reliable otherwise

Elneny- 7 – Very tidy in midfield and did really well in closing down the Bournemouth Midfield at times. Very underrated in the squad but very important.

Xhaka- 8 – We looked a lot better with him in the side and his ability to play one long ball to change defense into attack gives a new dimension to our play.

Oxlade Chamberlain- 6 – Very disappointing in the first half and sometimes gave the ball away recklessly, but always a driven player who did his best to create for the team

Ozil- 6.5 – Disappointing by his high standards but still tormented the Bournemouth defense all afternoon, played a crucial role in both goals in the second half.

Walcott- 7 – Well taken header in the second half to take his tally to 9 for the season. Tracked back well but his decision making lets him down sometimes.

Sanchez- 9 – Amazing performance, was everywhere and got the reward for his hard work with 2 goals. His ability to drop back and create chances for others is also impressive. Played a fantastic outside of the boot through ball to Ozil

SUBS:

Gabriel- 6 – Was shaky when he first came on at Right back and really struggled when Bournemouth were attacking, but grew into the game and was solid in the second half

Giroud- 7 – Added a different dimension to the game when he came on and got a good assist for Sanchez in stoppage time- Turning into a fantastic plan B for Arsenal

Ramsey- 6 – Was not involved as much in the short time he was on the pitch but overall solid.
