Odegaard Is Back at Arsenal... FOR GOOD!!!

My biggest dream has come true this season. Arsenal have managed to resign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid. This time, it's a permanent deal! After the loss to Brentford, it was very clear that Arsenal needed improvements. As good as Smith-Rowe is, I feel he's not ready for a starting position yet. So, with Arsenal bringing back Odegaard on a permanent basis, I feel we now have a solid attacking midfielder.

Now, if you'd have asked me who I would prefer to be at Arsenal between Odegaard and Maddison, I personally would have gone for Odegaard all day long. We know how well he plays from his loan spell and we got him for less money. James Madisson was reported to have a £60-70 odd million fee put on his head by Leicester City.

We have managed to sign Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid for £34 million when Los Blancos probably wanted £60 million. And as you can probably tell, I'm over the moon with this signing.

The only downside is he wasn't for the Chelsea match on Sunday due to him sorting out his Visa. But, when he eventually gets it all done, he will be in every starting line up for me.

I might as well discuss the signing of Aaron Ramsdale from Sheffield United whilst I'm typing this article. I'm willing to give him a chance. I feel this move could be his potential redemption for being one of the worst goalkeepers last season behind Sam Johnstone at West Bromwich Albion. I say that because I've done my research and West Brom conceded more goals then Sheffield United did despite United finishing bottom place. West Brom conceded 76 with United conceding 63. Only Southampton and Crystal Palace conceded more goals last season than United did.

So, I'm giving Ramsdale the benefit of the doubt. I will say that I am disgusted with the abuse he is getting on social media. I'm not particularity excited with it either, but I am not going out of my way and sending him horrible messages. Like I have stated, I'm willing to give him the chance but that doesn't mean I agree with the move. I do not wish him or anyone else for that matter getting trolled by cowards hiding behind a computer screen.
