Liverpool look set to spend in a region of £35m for Serie A goalkeeper.

With the Champions League Final still fresh in Liverpool fans minds it looks likely that the Merseyside team will look to add to their goalkeeping department this summer and according to the Metro the most recent name that Liverpool are suggested to have an interest in is Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Stakosha.

Liverpool were believed to have held interest in Athletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak as well as Roma’s Alisson Becker however, deals for the two players have been come to a halt with Athletico Madrid informing Liverpool that they would only allow Oblak to leave if they paid a fee in a region of £87m as well as Roma informing Liverpool that they will not listen to offers less of £62m for their goalkeeper.

With that in mind it seems that Jurgen Klopp has now moved onto other targets and according to Sky Italia have reportedly contacted Lazio over a potential transfer. Lazio have quoted Liverpool a fee in a region of £35m in attempt to hopefully scare of Liverpool’s interest but if Liverpool approach the club with an offer of that size it looks likely that the offer maybe too good to turn down for the Italian club.

Would you be happy with this signing if it was to happen Liverpool fans? If not, who would you like to see in between the sticks ahead of next season?
