While L is a great detective, Batman's track record in actually settling cases is superior in every way. Ultimately, Batman is the better detective.
Light is exceptionally intelligent, although whether he's more intelligent than Batman is difficult to say. Still, he was able to evade capture for years and outsmarted the greatest detective of his own world, L. He also doesn't have access to any special resources aside from the Death Note itself.
Batman and Sherlock are both known for using other, possibly illegal, methods to solve crimes. L usually just uses his deductive skills and solves cases that are just as difficult, so he is the better detective.
Though his past is shrouded in mystery, he has gained a reputation as arguably the world's greatest detective/criminal profiler. Throughout the series, he observes and spies on the activities of the series' protagonist, Light Yagami, a high school genius.
Batman would most likely immediately figured out that all the victims are criminals and that magic was being used to kill them, whereas L took much longer to reach this conclusion. Other than that L and the Bat are very similar in how they solve cases. But the primary difference would be their method of defeating Kira.
But hey, with all due respect to the dark knight, batman's theory of relativity doesn't pack quite the same punch. He is widely regarded as one of the keenest analytical minds in the universe. Batman is noted as having an i.q. Batman's iq is officially 192.
L to R: Near, L, Mello L has two successors, Near and Mello. It appears they were chosen at a young age, with Near being thirteen and Mello close to fifteen when they were introduced into the story.
While L has a lot of fantastic accomplishments and solved many crimes in the past, he doesn't always succeed, and in Death Note his failure is a big one. While L is a great detective, Batman's track record in actually settling cases is superior in every way. Ultimately, Batman is the better detective.
L Lawliet is smarter than Light Yagami, in fact, he's the smartest character in Death Note. L's IQ may be lower than Light's but his deduction skills, planning and eye for detail far surpass Kira's. He did find out Kira's identity without any hints or leads.
Probably L, because while Sherlock's power of inference is crazy good, L is a straight up superhuman in terms of his intelligence. Sherlocks intelligence definitely qualifies as superhuman. 1: L would stomp all over Sherlock.
↑ Chapter 46: Ill-Suited. ↑ Death Note: Another Note chapter 2, page 43 (English version): "It is now common knowledge that the three great post war detectives, L, Eraldo Coil and Danuve were all actually the same person. Certainly anyone reading these notes is almost certain to know…"
Lelouch Lamperouge (IQ 210)
Even without the special power of Geass, he turns out to be a tough opponent by his genius-level intellect of IQ 210. In every single fight of Code Geass, Lelouch always read his opponents tactics ahead of time and played his moves precisely.
Jokers's IQ is estimated to be around 350 (which is insane even in the real world), while Batman's is around 290. Additionally, the joker has been known to trick Batman numerous times causing him to even doubt himself in some cases.
Mihael Keehl (Japanese: ミハエル・ケール, Hepburn: Mihaeru Kēru), universally referred to by the mononym Mello (メロ, Mero), is a fictional character in the manga series Death Note, created by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. Mello is introduced alongside Near as a potential substitute for L.
Near's full appearance Near is a young, slender, fair-skinned man with a petite build, gray eyes, and short, shaggy platinum blonde hair which he often plays with. He is only seen wearing a white, long-sleeved pajama top and white pajama pants. In the anime, Near's pants are light blue.
10 He Is L's Successor
Two orphans from Wammy's House were worthy of being L's successor, Near and Mello. However, L died before he decided who would take his name.
In terms of raw power, Goku outclasses Batman by several magnitudes. An argument could be made that Goku might be more powerful than anyone in the DC Universe. Even Batman's famous "Hellbat" armor likely wouldn't be able to bring the Saiyan warrior down.
Ryuk writes Lights name down in his death note and kills him. Kira dies from a heart attack but even if Ryuk did not write Lights name down he would have still succumbed to the multiple bullet wounds in his body.
Batman is unable to find anything, Kira's power make finding any evidence impossible except the one he is taking with him (the hand) and The Dawang Crew only found about Kira by dumb luck with Shigechi.
According to the Scientist Supreme, Peter has an IQ of over 250.
Thanos' IQ is over 9000.
Besides, What is Lex Luthor's IQ? Lex Luthor's IQ is estimated to be 225, which is very impressive. Batman's is 192, while Albert Einstein's is thought to be between 160 and 180. So, Batman has a higher IQ than Albert Einstein, but Lex Luthor has a higher IQ than Batman.
