All Out Football- Premier League Predictions

The new season is just around the corner and as such every fan is claiming one way or another that their team is due for success this year round. Here at All Out Football we claim to be nothing more than that- fans of the game putting forward our views. Like any other fan we have our thoughts on who’s looking good for success in the coming season, and we’re not afraid to say who we think isn’t cutting it. A group of All Out Football writers have therefore taken the opportunity to put our pre-season predictions for the Premier League into writing- with some interesting results being yielded…

David Robinson

The man behind it all, the creator and chief editor of the site will be following closely to see if his beloved Watford can defy the odds that suggest a season of struggle…

  1. Manchester City
  2. Tottenham Hotspur
  3. Manchester United
  4. Chelsea
  5. Arsenal
  6. Liverpool
  7. Everton
  8. Southampton
  9. Leicester City
  10. Crystal Palace
  11. AFC Bournemouth
  12. West Ham United
  13. Newcastle United
  14. Watford
  15. West Bromwich Albion
  16. Stoke City
  17. Brighton and Hove Albion
  18. Swansea City
  19. Burnley
  20. Huddersfield Town

So the Gaffer is pretty optimistic that Watford will keep above the drop zone and end comfortably in mid-table- surely a good shout after another summer of managerial instability. Liverpool dropping out the top 5 and Swansea falling back under Paul Clement are the big losers in his predictions, whilst success for Manchester City and doom for Huddersfield are consistent features that we’re about to see.

Henry Clark

Unfortunately for Henry, he watched his side Hull City (to give them their REAL name) slump to relegation back to the Championship despite a valiant fight in the second half of the season. This is how he thinks things will shape up this year

  1. Manchester City
  2. Manchester United
  3. Chelsea
  4. Liverpool
  5. Arsenal
  6. Tottenham Hotspur
  7. Everton
  8. West Ham United
  9. AFC Bournemouth
  10. Crystal Palace
  11. West Bromwich Albion
  12. Southampton
  13. Leicester City
  14. Stoke City
  15. Newcastle United
  16. Swansea City
  17. Watford
  18. Burnley
  19. Brighton and Hove Albion
  20. Huddersfield Town

Henry unfortunately knows a thing or two about relegation from the Premier League, so maybe that’s cause for concern for Burnley, Brighton and Huddersfield. He sees some of the smaller clubs doing well, with Bournemouth and Crystal Palace posting top half finishes, whilst Spurs dropping to 6th are the big losers.

Luke Marsh

As a Hartlepool United fan, the Premier League is a different world for one of All Out Football’s star social media content managers. That being said, he hasn’t been afraid to put forward some bold predictions, especially for teams that will struggle…

  1. Manchester United
  2. Arsenal
  3. Chelsea
  4. Liverpool
  5. Manchester City
  6. Tottenham Hotspur
  7. Everton
  8. Stoke City
  9. West Ham United
  10. Crystal Palace
  11. West Bromwich Albion
  12. Newcastle United
  13. Watford
  14. AFC Bournemouth
  15. Burnley
  16. Swansea City
  17. Southampton
  18. Huddersfield Town
  19. Leicester City
  20. Brighton and Hove Albion

So Luke is the first to predict that Manchester City won’t be victorious- in fact he doesn’t even see them breaking the top four this year. Yet it’s at the bottom of the table where things get really interesting- Leicester to go down two years after being crowned champions? Southampton to plummet following a string of top half finishes? Luke knows his stuff, so we’ll see if his risky picks pay off.

Danny Ward

Burnley fan Danny watched a season really split into two last year- Burnley were fantastic at home but atrocious away. With a number of pundits, including our own, expecting second season syndrome to come down hard on them, it’s set to be a telling nine months.

  1. Manchester City
  2. Tottenham Hotspur
  3. Chelsea
  4. Manchester United
  5. Liverpool
  6. Everton
  7. Arsenal
  8. West Ham United
  9. Crystal Palace
  10. Southampton
  11. Leicester City
  12. AFC Bournemouth
  13. Newcastle United
  14. Watford
  15. West Bromwich Albion
  16. Burnley
  17. Huddersfield Town
  18. Stoke City
  19. Swansea City
  20. Brighton and Hove Albion

So Danny sees his side beating the drop… just. He also reverts to the form of selecting Manchester City as the Champions elect. However he bucks the trend by suggesting new boys Huddersfield have what it takes to survive another year, whilst Arsenal slipping outside the top 6 will certainly raise some eyebrows!

Ben Jaycock

Ben has watched a frustrating season at West Ham with the highly anticipated move into the Olympic Stadium not bringing the home comforts many would have liked. With some very useful recruits already this summer, does he see the Hammers pushing on and challenging the big boys this year?

  1. Manchester City
  2. Chelsea
  3. Liverpool
  4. Manchester United
  5. Arsenal
  6. Tottenham Hotspur
  7. Everton
  8. West Ham United
  9. West Bromwich Albion
  10. Southampton
  11. AFC Bournemouth
  12. Newcastle United
  13. Stoke City
  14. Crystal Palace
  15. Leicester City
  16. Brighton and Hove Albion
  17. Swansea City
  18. Watford
  19. Burnley
  20. Huddersfield Town

So an improved season predicted by Ben, although not quite breaking into the European positions just yet. He’s also clearly not interested in making friends on the site, tipping David’s Watford and Danny’s Burnley for ultimately fruitless campaigns.

Andy Wood

Well, I can’t hang these lads out to dry and not put my own thoughts on the line…

  1. Manchester City
  2. Tottenham Hotspur
  3. Manchester United
  4. Chelsea
  5. Liverpool
  6. Arsenal
  7. West Ham United
  8. Southampton
  9. Everton
  10. West Bromwich Albion
  11. Leicester City
  12. Crystal Palace
  13. Newcastle United
  14. AFC Bournemouth
  15. Swansea City
  16. Brighton and Hove Albion
  17. Burnley
  18. Stoke City
  19. Watford
  20. Huddersfield Town
