Everton have agreed the triple signing of Andre Gomes, Yerry Mina and Bernard, two of which have come from Barcelona as had Lucas Digne who they signed earlier in the window. According to Sky Sports, Everton completed the deals in the few remaining minutes before the 5 PM deadline.
The three signings will add to an already high-spending window for Everton with Richarlison and Digne already at the Merseyside club for a combined £58 million. Yerry Mina’s fee is believed to be around £28.5 million while Bernard was signed on a free transfer following his contract expiration at Shakhtar. Andre Gomes will join on a season-long loan thought to have cost the Toffees around £2 million.
Marco Silva will now have completed five signings since taking over as the Everton head coach and will head into the season with high expectations following an expensive window for the club. Everton will be confident that they can challenge for European football and having lost that opportunity this season, they’ll have more time in between games to recover.
