Ospina singed for Arsenal in 2014 after the World Cup but has now been told that he can leave the club following the arrival of Bernd Leno this summer he will compete with Petr Cech for the number one shirt at the Emirates this season.

Ospina has featured for Arsenal in each of his seasons at the club and was Arsenal’s keeper in the Euorpa League last season under Arsene Wenger but Unai Emery has told him he is not part of his plans and is free to leave the club.

He has now agreed personal terms with Besiktas and will make the move to Turkey. This is not a deal that needs to be completed by 5pm tonight as the window stays open until the end of the month in the rest of Europe.
