Having labelled Neymar as the ‘complete player’, Real Madrid defender, Dani Carvajal says he will reserve a locker for the Brazilian frontman should he secure a move to the Bernabeu this summer, just a year after joining Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona for a world record £198 million fee, the Daily Mail reports.

Both Carvajal and Neymar are currently on international duty in Russia for Spain and Brazil respectively, and despite their previous tussles and exchanges in El Clasico, Carvajal confirms he would welcome Neymar to the Spanish capital with open arms.

Carvajal told Spanish radio network, Caden SER: “If he was born to play in Madrid, I don’t know.

“Madrid always wants the best players in the world. If the president is determined to sign him, we will have to save a locker.”

The two players could yet lock horns at the World Cup after both Spain and Brazil secured their place in the tournament’s last 16.

Neymar has netted just once in Russia so far as Tite’s side remained unbeaten in their first three fixtures, topping Group E, while Carvajal has played in every game of Spain’s group campaign, helping them progress from Group B alongside Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal.

Since joining French side, Paris Saint Germain last summer, Neymar clinched an impressive treble that included the Ligue 1 title, contributing 28 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions. The Brazilian also stole the show individually, being named Ligue 1 Player of the Year and as part of the Team of the Year.

Will Neymar depart Paris Saint-Germain after just one season with the French Champions? Would a move back to Spain with Real Madrid be the right switch for the South American star? Let us know your thoughts by commenting down below. You can also tweet us at @AllOutFootball_ using the hashtag #AOF.
