Cristiano Ronaldo, simply amazing.

Being Portuguese and being blessed enough to have seen his entire career from his days of a young tricky winger at Sporting to for many becoming the best footballer the world has seen. Cristiano Ronaldo for me has become a player we may never see again.

Friday night every football fan was excited about Portugal vs Spain. Arguably the stand out game of the group stages due to the stature of both countries in football and geographically being rivals. The game simply did not disappoint. It was full of goals, 6 to be precise, good slick passing, good dribbles and great goals. Costa had maybe his best game for Spain but Ronaldo reminded everyone why he is the current ballon d’or holder.

Prior to the game questions were being asked regarding Cristiano and his history in  theWorld Cup and versus Ramos. Before last night Ronaldo had not scored against Ramos and only had 3 goals in World Cups. After last night he is the first player to score in 8 consecutive major tournaments, reached Puskas 84 international goals, now leads the golden boot in the World Cup, scored his first free kick in the World Cup.

Well Done Ronaldo and hopefully this can be your World Cup!
