Week three of the Chinese Super League kicked off with Dalian Yifang playing at home to Beijing Guoan. Soriano goals either side of Wei Shihao scoring again for Beijing meant Guoan left Dalian with all 3 points in a game that looked to have been marred by a serious looking injury to Nico Gaitan.

In a tough game at Hebei, Shandong came away 2-1 winners to keep up their 100% record this season with Diego Tardelli scoring twice. Song Wenjie scored for the home side.

One thing the CSL doesn’t lack is goals as Chongqing and Jiangsu proved, with the home side winning 4-1. Fernando, Liu Weidong (2) and Ding Jie scoring for the home side with Alex Teixeira scoring for Jiangsu who were without Ramires again.

In the most entertaining game of the weekend Guangzhou R&F raced in to a two goal lead with Zahavi scoring another fantastic goal before Xiao Zhi made it 2-0 on 9 minutes. Shortly after it became the Wu Lei show who scored a hat trick in 9 minutes. Hulk then scored shortly after half time before Lei added his 4th goal in the 73rd minute.

Changchun Yatai are still looking for their first win of the CSL season after drawing against tough to beat Beijing Renhe. Renhe took the lead on 29 minutes through Wang Gang before Odion Ighalo scored probably the easiest goal of his career, tapping in from close range on 42 minutes.

Another exciting fixture this weekend was the Tianjin Derby. Tianjin Teda took the lead through Ghanaian Frank Acheampong before Pato levelled just after half time. Anthony Modeste then scored on 78 to give what looked like the three points to Quanjian. Acheampong then scored on 84 minutes and then sealed a famous win and excellent come back for Teda on 90 minutes.

The champions Guangzhou Evergrande played out a fairly lacklustre 1-0 win at home against Henan Jianye. Goulart missed a penalty before Alan gave Evergrande the lead.

Guizhou Zhicheng now sit second bottom of the CSL after losing at home to Shanghai Shenhua. Gio Moreno scoring the goal in the second half to ensure the Shanghai side left with all 3 points.
