After a prolific season in Ligue 1, Nice striker Alassane Plea looks set to move to the Premier League with reports suggesting that West Ham, Newcastle, Fulham and Tottenham all hold an interest in the French forward, as reported by Sky Sports.
It looks like West Ham have acted early on their interest for the young forward with Sky Sources reporting that the London Club have tabled a bid in the region of £27m, which is suggested to be £2m more than another bid they received for the player from another Premier League Club.
However, recent reports from The Chronical have confirmed that Newcastle United have submitted a bid for the player and have also confirmed that it is below Nice’s asking price which suggests that they are the club to have tabled a £25m bid.
It is believed that the French club are keen to hold out on their asking price of £30m with Lyon entitled to 20% of the sell on fee due to a clause in his contract when he joined Nice from Lyon in August 2014.
