Burnley vs Arsenal Preview and Team news

Written by Nsofor Izuchukwu

A few days after he celebrates his 20th anniversary at Arsenal, Arsene Wenger will expect a good gift from his in-form players: and that gift will definitely be a comfortable three points against Burnley.

Arsenal have produced some fine performance since their loss to Liverpool in the opening game of the Premier League having comfortably beaten city rivals Chelsea  3-0 through goals from Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil.

On the other hand, Burnley have started impressively on their return to the top flight and victory against Watford last week took them to a tally of 7 points from the first six games. The team possesses good players but Sean Dyche’s aerial attack could be of particular problem to Koscielny and Mustafi.

But with the form of the Arsenal attack, it will be a tough task to stop them, the Burnley defence needs to be on top form to stop them on Suandy at Turf moor.

Arsenal travel to Turf moor to take on Burnley on Sunday October 2, which kicks off at 4:30 pm.

Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns apart from Olivier Giroud who Wenger has publicly ruled out of the game on sunday. No absentee coming back.

Burnley on the other hand have a healthy squad apart from Andre Gray who continues to serve his four match ban handed to him by the FA.

It will be a tough game but my prediction will be a 3-0 victory to Arsenal.
