Liverpool displayed a good performance at the weekend but the defence was absolutely horrendous and so was Karius even though he did make quality saves. He’s like De Gea, he is still young and got great potential for bigger things in the future. He plays like De Gea and the way he sets himself up for the shot.
The first half Liverpool were dominating the possession and were keeping the pressure on the Bournemouth defence by continuously attacking Bournemouth who would clear the ball and give it straight back to one of the Liverpool defenders.
But fair play you have to give it to Bournemouth for the performance in the second half they weren’t giving the ball away as much and did not let Liverpool keep as much pressure on them. They came out of the tunnel as a completely different team.
Liverpool vs West Ham on Sunday 11/12. Kick off at 16:30. Liverpool struggled a lot against West Ham last season as the reds just couldn’t cope with the pace off West Ham and the build up play.
The defeat now puts Jurgen Klopp’s side four points behind the leaders after 14 games. Liverpool fans are likely to feat the worst as the game had a far too familiar feel to it having squandered leads in similar fashion in the past. Now it’s up to the Merseyside club to answer a few questions and bounce back. Losing to Bournemouth is no disgrace, Eddie Howe’s side climb to tenth and on their day will cause any team problems but the way the game panned out will certainly put Liverpool’s title charge into question.
