Having already decided two of my favourite line up’s from the English and Italian leagues with a little help from @jaymquilkin, we still have two more to go. Here is my best Spanish league line up, which in fact looks more like a best Real Madrid and Barcelona combined starting 11. But its hard to pick out anyone from any other team with the talent that both sides have had in recent years. So here we go.

Goalkeeper – Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas is an all time great and without a doubt the best keeper that league has produced. I picked Casillas for one reason alone, THAT save against Sevilla, which saw him run post to post before diving low to deny Diego Perotti. He covered that distance in half a second and for me that’s one of the best saves I’ve ever seen. Other than this, he has been brilliant for Real Madrid and when I heard how Florentino Perez treated Iker I was a little disheartened by it. He didn’t deserve to be sent away like that after all he had done for the club.

Defenders – we have a back four of Dani Alves, Carlos Puyol, Sergio Ramos and Roberto Carlos. If you’ve read my Italian team before this I stated that there would be a harder back four to pick, but i feel this is on par with that selection. All these players are club legends and some of my personal favourites. I watched a lot of El Clasico’s when I was younger (I still do) but watching these players face off against each other was so exhilarating and still is.

Midfield – this was the hardest choice we’ve made. But we went for, Andreas Iniesta, Zinedine Zidane and Ronaldinho. There is so many more you talents you could put in this midfield such as Luis Figo, Xavi, Guti, David Beckham… the list is endless. But the three that make up the midfield here are what we think achieved so much and went on to do great things.

Forwards – This was a tiny bit easier, but not by much. Obviously we have, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Who was our 3rd option? we could of talked for hours about this, naming players like Raul, Fernando Torres, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thierry Henry and Luis Saurez. But in the end we both agreed on Ronaldo. An all time phenomenon, and I don’t think many would disagree.
