With the recent news that defender Sean Kolasinac could be out for up to ten weeks, Arsenal are potentially readying a bid to bring AC Milan defender Ricardo Rodriguez to the English capital, as reported by the Daily Mail.
It appears that manager Unai Emery is taking no chances on Nacho Monreal’s struggle to regain full fitness and wants to bring in another full back before the close of Thursday’s window.
The player only moved to Serie A last season from Wolfsburg in a deal which could cost a fee in the region of €15million plus €2million in bonuses. With Rodriguez being viewed as the answer to their issues a potential deal could cost the Gunners up to £30million.
With a few stand out performances this season it has been suggested that the defender has also caught the eye of Spurs, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. With them all being rumoured to be keeping an eye on the Swiss international. Although, it has been reported by TMW that the player is happy in Milan and does not want to leave the club.
