Premier League football returns this weekend following what felt like a lengthy International break. With England uninspiring the nation I’m sure many fans across the country and around the globe are desperate to get back into the swing of things and with that comes the return of the Fantasy Premier League. Our current leader sits on 459 points but it is still so early on and many points will be won and lost before the end of the season so our team continue to offer you our tips for the players that could make all of the difference.
Ryan Fisher – Shane Duffy – £4.5m
Ryan thinks the Irishman could be a shrewd piece of business for this week, having been pivotal in shutting his Welsh side down in the big international fixture, the centre back will be eyeing up another clean sheet against a struggling Everton side which is why Ryan believes for a bargain price you could easily come away with 4 clean sheet points because of Everton’s blunt looking attack, as of late.
Luke Woodley-Marshall – Harry Kane – £12.7m
There is no stopping the England forward at the moment so while this is of course a predictable pick, you will not find a more safe bet for goals and points as a result. Luke believes the fact Kane has 6 goals in 3 games against weekend opponents Bournemouth is ominous for a flurry of more goals when Spurs return to Wembley on Saturday.
Alex Cox – Javier Hernandez – £7.0m
The Mexican striker is one of the most prolific marksmen in the Premier League and with 1 goal in his last 5 Premier League games, he is definitely due a goal and has the opportunity to do so away at a Burnley side who are flying high so far. Despite this, Dyche’s men were largely tipped for the drop come the end of the season so West Ham will eye this up as a great opportunity for 3 points, if they were to get the win, Hernandez is likely to play a part in it.
Luke Marsh – Gabriel Jesus – £10.5m
After Aguero was ruled out for Manchester City, Gabriel Jesus is a certain pick for Pep Guardiola’s side and following some scintillating form the Citizens go into a home game against Stoke as clear favourites. The chances are Gabriel Jesus will be providing with opportunities to find the net, so a high set of points is very much on the cards.
Siddesh Iyer – Ben Davies – £5.9m
After a disappointing international break, Ben Davies will be looking to bounce back with Spurs at home to Bournemouth. The full back has spent time in a more advanced wing back role playing a part in his impressive 49 points collected so far and will be looking to build on his goal he scored in their last league match.
