A new AOF Podcast!

Welcome to a new fresh podcast for All Out Football! It started off as an idea and we are now delighted to share it with you the listener.

To kick everything off I’d like to introduce myself as the host. The club I’ve followed since 2006 is Cheltenham Town. In my early day as a fan the club was in League One and now 15 years later the Robins are back in the third tier for 2021-22. I’m quietly optimistic that Michael Duff can keep the reigning League Two champions away from the relegation zone, but I’m under no illusions that it will be a tough season fighting for points. Anything above 21st place will be an achievement.

I’m really happy to start this podcast but what am I hoping to get out of it? First and foremost is conversation. I’m intrigued to hear what fans think about their respective clubs, their love of football and even issues off the pitch. It’s my aim to get as many fans as possible involved to hear their thoughts on a range of topics.

For episode one I am pleased to share a full EFL 2021-22 season preview. Joining me for our first episode is Derby supporter Scott, MK Dons fan Liam and Johnnie, who cheers for the new kids on the block in League Two this season, Sutton United.

We talk predictions, players to watch and the importance of fans back at stadiums, but most importantly we delve into their respective clubs in more depth. A buzzing excitement as Sutton make their EFL debut, Russell Martin leaving MK Dons for Swansea City and Derby County in an unwanted off-the-field nightmare.

Best of luck to every team in the EFL this season. Another nine months of interesting football across the Football League is about to begin…
