Manchester United and Juve in talks over five transfers.

Manchester United and Juventus are rumoured to be in talks over an astonishing FIVE transfers. 2 players heading to Turin and 3 coming to the Premier League. The Mirror are also reporting that David de Gea has singed a new five year contract at Old Trafford while Premier League big hitters have a missed a huge chance to sign a long term target.

Manchester United and Juventus are rumoured to be in discussions over five transfer deals. The 20 time English top division Champions are hoping that when the talks conclude they will have deals in place to sign Sandro, Sami Khedira and Mario Mandzukic.

However, a deal to sign the former Atletico Madrid striker looks unlikely but Khedira and Sandro who has been a long term target for United look possible. Juve are targeting a deal to bring in Matteo Darmian who has been told he can leave but both sides are still some way apart on a fee with United valuing him at €20 million, while Juve want him for around €13 million it is thought that Juve may well get their way as Jose is keen to get rid of deadwood.

Anthony Martial’s future is very unclear with United saying they don’t intend to sell the frenchman who’s agent has said he wants to leave the club so that he can play on a regular basis, something he was unable to do at Old Trafford last season.  Juve are hoping they can negotiate a deal that would see the play-maker make the move to Serie A.

Talking of United players and it looks as if David de Gea is set to end any speculation about his future by agreeing a new five year contact at the Theatre of Dreams. Real Madrid have been known admirers of the keeper and failed with a bid for him back in 2015. When asked about his future he refused to commit either way instead saying he “was very happy in Manchester” and that he wanted to win titles. “What I want is to in titles, like very other player.

“There’s no lacking in winning titles at United – we have to improve. We are a big club, we are not here to take 2nd place, we have to improve and make this club great.”

Meanwhile, Dries Mertens who has been a target for the Premier League’s big hitters in recent years has put the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool on alert. It is thought than none of the clubs have made a move for the player due to his high price tag. Reports in Italy surfaced earlier this week saying that Mertens had a release clause in his contract at just £24 million. However, this expired at midnight last night meaning that clubs will now have to negotiate directly with Napoli who will command a big fee that could well see him stay in Serie A a while longer.
